Erica Bahnweg, DO

I grew up on the south shore of Long Island, New York. I then moved down to Florida to attend the University of South Florida for my undergraduate years, where I majored in Biomedical Science. I returned home to New York for a gap year and then went back down to Florida to attend medical school at Nova Southeastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Fort Lauderdale. Throughout medical school, I also completed a master’s degree in Medical Education. I have many interests in medicine, making Family Medicine the perfect place for me. Some of my interests include adolescent medicine, academic medicine, global health, sports medicine, addiction medicine, lifestyle medicine-pretty much everything. Outside of medicine, you can find me at a coffee shop, traveling everywhere and anywhere, spending time outdoors or hanging out with family and friends.

Marissa Crum, MD

My name is Marissa Crum, and I’m a resident at UPMC St. Margaret Family Medicine Residency Program. Originally from Greenville, South Carolina, I attended the University of South Carolina for undergrad and returned to Greenville for medical school at USC School of Medicine Greenville. I chose family medicine because of the breadth of opportunities to take care of patients throughout their lifetime. My interests within family medicine include women’s health and obstetrics, pediatrics, outpatient procedures, and lifestyle medicine. My husband and I moved to Pittsburgh with our dog Maggie, and we’ve been enjoying exploring all of Pittsburgh’s many parks and trails in our free time.

Daniel Miller, MD

Hello! I am originally from southern West Virginia and grew up in a small town called Princeton. I then attended West Virginia University (Go Mountaineers!) where I majored in Public Health with an emphasis in Community and Population Health and a minor in Biology. I then attended Marshall University Joan C. Edwards School of Medicine in Huntington, WV. After living in West Virginia my whole life, I decided to make the move to Pittsburgh and am loving it so far! I have broad interests within family medicine including inpatient medicine, FM OB, lifestyle medicine, and academic medicine. Outside of residency, I really enjoy hiking, backpacking, making charcuterie boards, and checking out all the local coffee shops in Pittsburgh.
